Fat Mike about I heard they suck live
back to I heard they suck live
Hello, welcome to our live album. Yeah, it's kinda cheesy to do a live album,
something Aerosmith would do, but the reason we did it is cause there's about
7 bootleg CD's all over Europe, Japan and the US and they all sound like shit,
like someone recorded it from inside a garbage can. Not only that, but those
fuckers are making shitloads of money, while making us sound shitty. So we
bought a fucking expensive (3000 bucks a day) mobile studio into a small
Hollywood club (which will remain nameless cause they wanted a bunch of money
to use their name) and recorded 3 shows in a row. The first really sucked cause
we were too drunk, but the next two were pretty good.
This recording is a compiliation of those two nights, Jan 8 and 9 1995. We
would like to thank a bunch of people, but I'm kinda busy right now, so forget
it. Ryan Green recorded and mixed this, Eddie Schreyer mastered it, Kent did
live sound during it, and Coop drew the cover oh, and Nick Rubenstein did all the
other art fag shit.
The song before east bay is a fucked up rudimentary peni song. East Bay lyrics
includes stuff like, "I know blatz ... down with EBU ... more piercings than
you ... new method ... neither do me ... picture with Murray Bowles ... get signed to
Lookout ... DMR (durant mob rules) I think? Without all of you, this record
would have been possible. Special thanx to Luke Hutchings. Photos by Lisa
Johnson, Jesse Fisher, and some German named Ansgar. Erik asskisser would
like to thank Brent at Zildjian for the status cymbals. NOFX brown nosers
would like to thank Epitaph for being very cool, and helping out with this record.
